Special Wednesday

Special day today,
Like most Wednesdays I finish work at lunchtime, this allowed me the opportunity to make a start on my Christmas shopping- need it sorted for a family present swap early in December, managed to get most of what I needed today- result!
Came home to be greeted by a couple of packages, one a box of flowers sent by my youngest, who is currently working in Iceland for a year, for my birthday today.
Tea with my hubby, eldest and grandson which included a Skype call from Iceland and rounded off with birthday cake.
All in all a lovely special Wednesday.
