The Tyne at Scotswood

Today I went out for a bike ride, I did about forty miles which in hindsight was about thirty eight too far, as I type my legs are dead my whole body aches and worst of all you the bit that comes into contact with the saddle, well that feels like I'm wearing a rather large and very sore nappy (diaper)

I did enjoy the bike ride which was a mix of countryside and urban riding.

The large building on the opposite bank is BAE systems, they make Challenger tanks there, I believe that there are going to be a large number of redundancies which will affect the local economy as well as our defences.

I'm off for a lie down now to recover.
