Clematis

A rather pretty clematis, currently with abundant flowers, on our arch.  It was very windy, difficult to get a photo with the flower in focus.

W built the arch over last winter, and this year we planted 4 clematis, intended to give flowering for as much of the year as possible.  One looks as though it may not have survived.  Two others, understandably, spent more energy on establishing their roots than producing flowers this year.  But this one suddenly started producing abundant flowers about a month ago.
