High river levels

The river levels are very high this morning, but thankfully no flooding in Cockermouth...

Our hearts go out to all those affected by the flooding...mainly South Cumbria and Lancashire, I think.

A much brighter day...colder too...with wintery showers...much better than the non stop rain of yesterday!

We are going to a talk by Tony Robinson tonight...organised by our local Book shop...hope he has a cunning plan!
