The Fish Ticklers are gone.
Dave the Foreman is gone.
Tam the Digger Man is gone.

It's unofficial, the Kirkton Weir Fish Ladder is open for business!

The official opening will happen once the local cooncil can make their minds upon a date but for now the fish can climb their new ladder to their wee fishy hearts are content.

A representative for the local fishing club, Ivor Tiddler, said, "Aye braw.....but who's going to tell the fish?"

A spokesperson for the cooncil, Ida Bigyinwonce, said, "Ehhhhhh, never thought about that!."
