The El Dorado
During a long walk in Central Park with our 10-month old granddaughter, I had the opportunity to take a few pictures. This is a view from the East Side looking across the reservoir to the West Side to the El Dorado, a very recognizable building on the skyline. There are still lots of leaves on the trees and autumn colors are still looking super. I guess that's because of the warmer temperatures of the city. This building comes in very handy for us, because our son's apartment is across the street just to the right so when we are wandering around the park and have lost our bearings, we know which way to head home.
Hockey News: The Las Vegas Golden Knights (the team our son works for) moved into first place in their division last night after another 4-2 win. They have broken all 100-year-old National Hockey League records for successful starts of a first-year expansion team. Because most of the games are from the west coast, they start late, and I am the only family member who seems to be able to stay awake for the whole game, but I pay a price the next day.
