Bricks

Our walk with Cumbernauld & Kilsyth Ramblers on Tuesday took us through Castlecary Low Wood into Castlecary High Wood and then back the same way - see extra photo.

The entrance to what is now the Low Wood used to be part of the Castlecary Brick Works and part of the path (pictured) is composed of bricks from several of the former fireclay brick works in the area. Unsurprisingly, the path was rather slippy in Tuesday's rain!
