Dead or Alive, they all count

I've been practising using manual focus today with more success than previously, although I need to sit outside with the birds rather than taking pictures through the window.  My Olympus doesn't have a "through glass" feature, unlike Panasonic, which is a great shame.

I found this expired wasp in the conservatory and thought "hurrah, a blip for today".
