I was looking out of the kitchen window this morning when I noticed a patch that didn't look like ivy

Off I went outside and found this big beastie buried in the ivy and managed to cut it down.  There's another higher up but I can't reach it.

If you look at the extra you will see why it's a bit high - this came across from my neighbours garden and extended across the ivy, across the lawn - everywhere!

I've no idea if it's edible and I'm not going to find out .................

In other news I just popped over to Gloucester for a mooch round the charity and antique shops today and found no goodies
