Coming in to land.

Today I took a friend to the Scottish Deer Centre courtesy of vouchers kindly given to me by a blip friend who is enjoying a holiday in New Zealand .
It was a beautiful sunny day but certainly not NZ temperatures - a very crisp 4 C !

My friend B had not been before and he loved it - a particular favourite was the Birds of Prey display and we were treated to a display of the flying skills of this Harris Hawk seen here coming to receive some chicken from the young lady. She explained how this bird has amazing initial acceleration and also manoeuvrability in the air but not the high speed of the falcons ( see extra),

Now just trying to thaw out !
