Contre-jour - and wind

A really bracing walk this afternoon with the three bigger dogs while Pixie  was being pampered at the groomer's. The sun was bright but the wind was really strong and bitterly cold. I tried to capture the effect of both on the dogs. Mystic's coat is very fine and the sun shines through it and the wind is blowing her tail over too - normally it would be straight out. Merlin would not stay still long enough to get a photo of him and Bess's coat is so coarse it doesn't blow about. Pixie now looks and smells all 'girlie'.
