a thanksgiving sunset...

...to end the day

when nature closes out a day traditionally - known for when we count our blessings - and those things we are grateful for - i see this riot of color and recognize i have enough - yet there are those who don't on this day

so i ask that we not forget them and that if you believe - join me in sending up prayers (or good thoughts) - for all those who don't have what they should - are suffering, or cold, hungry, without money - due to circumstances beyond their control - have no family or friends - are homeless, feeling bereft - that perhaps for just one day - an angel would cross their path - do something good for them to give them hope - in what seems like a hopeless world to them - that it would renew their spirit - bring them a bit of joy - and create in them a reckoning to know it can be better - and maybe, just maybe they might experience...
