The Gate

Here is my 2nd post and in fact this is one of the photos that was chosen for a local Calendar for 2018.
I love taking shots of this gate through the year, its my favourite gate in fact. Its at Abney Hall in Cheadle, Cheshire about 10 mins from my house. Im there most Sundays weather and health permitting.

One of the nicest compliments on my work was at the beginning of the year when i took this. It was -3 at the time! It was "Wonderful photo, you take take picture of things that most people walk past" and I do. I don't do the usual "touristy" shots, I like something a bit different.
