Lady of the Mountain!

This wee rowan tree has more berries than leaves! As many of us know there's an old wife's tale that lots of red berries on trees is a sign of a hard winter!!! Oh oh let's hope that's not correct!
The Rowan tree(mountain ash) is the tree of life in Scots folklore, it keeps evil spirits away, berries are used for jelly making, & had medicinal purposes, it's planted in many a Scots garden to keep the witches away!!
