An Unexpected Horse

Another early morning stroll with Finlay…the sun was just beginning to peep over the woods and light up the church across the frosty fields. As I was just about to fire the shutter a horse wandered into frame, so I waited until it was completely in view before shooting.

I was expecting to go to Doncaster late morning to meet our granddaughter from school and look after her for the afternoon whilst mum was at a meeting… but I had a message to say that she had woken unwell and wasn't going to school. Mum cancelled her meeting to look after her.

So after shopping I have been at a bit of a loose end…. and this afternoon I will be making some batches of soup instead of playing with granddaughter!
