Roosting

It's been a cold and bright day, just right to start with a walk in Goit Stock with friend Chris, then it was on to jobs.  I planted some cyclamen in the now empty dahlia pots to add a bit of colour; strung some lights in our hedge; climbed in to the loft to retrieve the decorating cloths for Russell's arrival to deal with the damp on Monday and covered the furniture which is presently all stacked in one corner of the room; put our office chair out on the street to see if someone will recycle it; dropped off the children's books at the local primary (thank you for those suggestions yesterday) and added a few pieces to my jigsaw.

Tomorrow we are going to enjoy a big catch up with lots of older orienteering pals at a lunch to celebrate Tom and Jeff's 80th Birthdays!
