1825

Blip will mark this as my 1825th entry.  However, as I explained a few days ago,  it is now more than 5 years since I started blipping, but not yet five years since I started blipping on a daily basis.

Some things last a lot longer than 5 years.  Four days ago I blipped a table lamp that I had had for 40 years.  Today, I needed to use my power drill, another device which is almost as old as the lamp.  It could do with a thorough clean, but it still seems to be fully functional (although not as convenient as a modern, cordless drill with a keyless chuck).
