My Dad had three brothers and two sisters, two brothers and one sister died of this.
Therefore as well as almost reaching 65 I am considered to be on the ‘high risk’ register.
So off I went, locally, to have my scan, I’m led to believe that the procedure and equipment are identical to that used for the ladies pregnancy test.
After the gel was applied I expected the pad to be cold but it was surprisingly warm, thirty minutes after starting it was all done.

And the result......
