The accidental finding

By woodpeckers

Just another psychedelic Monday

For the sake of my sanity, I must post up an experimental-treatment blip from time to time. I have to be so good, and polite, and PC at work, even though we do have a laugh, and lots of cake...

This morning there were spiders' webs stretched horizontally over the front garden, which I razed a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, it was in shadow, and I was late leaving, having failed to find my shoes! On the way to work, in different shoes, I realised that there was one place I had not checked. Sure enough, when I got home later, that was where they had been found! Back on Bowbridge lane, round the corner from my street, I saw some fuschias blooming in a garden, and decided to spend two minutes with my camera. It was the buds I liked; the flowers were overblown and rain-damaged. Fuschias remind me of our first home in Dublin, where they bloomed in tubs near the back door, all year round, if my memory is correct in this respect.

I rushed home after work to have lunch and prepare for giving a massage; after that I sorted out some paperwork relating to tax and self-employment, which I found deeply depressing. Those nice people at the revenue took 20% of my first pay packet at my new part time job last month, and say I will not be refunded till April 2013! But by then it was 7pm, and time to sort through the six shots I took today.

So here we have psychedelic fuschias, on what has otherwise been a grey, colourless day. Happy Tuesday for tomorrow, everyone!
