Leftovers

This is all that's left of the pedestrian bridge over Leith St. It was the only part of the St James Centre carbuncle that I quite liked so it's a shame they couldn't keep it. I dare say we'll end up with a million-pound walkway in its place as part of the redevelopment but that's fine as we're all rolling in money these days.
We'd been out catching up with Takaya who was making another flying visit (from Dusseldorf rather than Kyoto). So it was a meet up in the Guidford, then off to the station, then back to the Cafe Royal for lunch before hitting the shops. New hiking shoes, hiking socks, jeans. That's enough of that!
