Ridley Park

was frosty but fresh as I walked through it this morning.
I came across these figures which I had never noticed before.
One is of PC David Rathband. In 2010 he was shot in the face and blinded by a local thug.
Sadly he couldn't cope and later hanged himself at his home in Blyth.
The thug was hunted down and shot dead by armed police.
