Tornado

Out early this morning to see 60163 'Tornado' coming by with 'The Christmas Cracker' from London Euston to Chester. A very cold but lovely morning, but challenging for photographs as the sun was low and I was shooting almost straight into it, being just to the left of the shot. We nearly had one of those moments you see on the news now and again; one of the other men there was monitoring the local train movements and could see a large freight train approaching which was in danger of blocking the view of Tornado but in the end, it came past about 30 seconds later. Glad I wasn't a bit further up the line!
