FOOTWARMER

The magpie was helping the sheep out with their grooming and keeping his feet warm at the same time.

The Water Rail popped in again just under the window of one of the hides on the reserve (extra), and all the enthusiasts with their enormous long lenses had to scramble onto chairs and ledges to get at the right angle to see it, thereby frightening it away, whereas I could just hold my little pocket camera out of the window, click a few times and leave them to it. Sometimes it's just the job!
