Sunset arrival

We left in heavy cloud, and some rain. As we moved through Staffordshire, a thin layer of the white stuff on some slopes.

Then at Solihull we moved into a different weather system entirely. Still cold, but sunshine.

We reached the south coast just in time to see the sun setting over the sea. So a brief pause for a quick photo before completing our journey. If we had arrived five minutes later we would have missed this, so impeccable timing.

I like the sailing boat, visible on the horizon.
