Golf outing

Yesterday's outing was with the girls, today's with the boys (hubby and son) on the golf course. My oldest daughter is back home in New Hampshire now; the youngest will return to Colorado early tomorrow morning.

Beautiful day to be outdoors -- in spite of what looks like menacing clouds. The mid-afternoon light was gloriously filtered. As for the game itself: it started off really well and went downhill from there, but good fun still :)

And, before anyone asks: yes, the brown/golden cover is grass -- Bermuda grass more specifically, which goes dormant with dropping temps and requires little maintenance through the winter :)
