I have NO idea what this titmouse was doing, but he farted around for a good minute with the sunflower seed perched at the end of his bill, right in front of me and BD. It was almost as if he was begging to be blipped... so how could I pass it up? Not to be outdone, Scar the Chippie tried to get as many acorns as possible stuffed in his chubby little cheeks all the while denying any culpability in the disappearance of the nuts. Cheeky little scoundrel.

It was an otherwise uneventful day. I saw some sepia mushrooms and I baked a nice loaf of wheat bread and did a bunch of work in the office. Ho hum.

Thank you for the warm welcome to the screechy blue jay yesterday. He has spent quite a lot of time on the SL page today and is tied with the Eagle of several days ago in total stars. Imagine that - the rather lowly and common blue jay nearly beating out the regal and rare Bald Eagle? That will certainly stir some gossip in bird-land. Haha!

By the way, if you have a moment, check out last year's blip - Five black bears in my yard! That was quite a shock, believe me!
