Looking both ways

Took a few photos today of various things but this tree caught my eye as it looked like half of it was ready for autumn and the other half was still in summer.

I feel a bit like that today, first day back at work so half of me moving forward and the other half just wanted to stay stationary and not even get out of bed. The day went well though, it was nice to catch up with friends at work.

I've started to keep a list of memories...I'm afraid I'll forget the small things that always made me smile. It's been nice thinking about happier times and now I'll always have my list to add to and look at if I'm feeling sad! All in all a good day.
