Night train

This was at 20:40 on Sontheim station. On the right the slow train from Augsburg to Memmingen via Buchloe and on the left, the train is a track laying /service unit. On the line Zurich to Munich most is non electrified single track (up to Buchloe). Means the service is very slow & rarely used. The Swiss have been pressing for something to be done for years & even offered to pay half the cost. At long last the German government has agreed to electrify the route but it remains single track! The 100km from Sontheim to Munich now takes 90 minutes and no doubt will not change with electrification,
