George Banks and his British Bank

Mary Poppins was the after dinner TV viewing choice (by the bairns) tonight.

The George Banks character entertained me given today's financial shenanigans. Whilst dictating to his wife in his letter to the Times newspaper to advertise for a new nanny, he sings,

"A British bank is run with precision.
A British bank requires nothing less.
Tradition, discipline and rules must be the form,
Without them - disorder, catastrophe, anarchy;
In short you have a ghastly mess!"
