At puberty

Not this curious duck, but our rowing club - now at the age of 15. Over the years it has grown from 8 to more than 90 members and at this year‘s general meeting had to handle 26 requests raised by a small group of members. Finally not just factual things, but also a matter of club culture. As one of the founding members said, the club is now at puberty and there are some rules, cultural elements and limits to obey.

The board was well prepared and did well. Although it was the longest assembly we ever had and hopefully will ever have. All in all 5 hours! Even the hotel allowed us to use their meeting room on an open end basis.

Now looking forward to a post-puberty rowing season 2018.
