Old Noarlunga

We went for a bit of a drive this afternoon, and took George with us thinking we would find a nice little cafe for afternoon tea.  Sadly both places in this historic town have closed down, so we went tea-less.

I had to look this bit up, but the name Noarlunga is an English adaptation of the native Kaurna word Nurlongga, meaning 'at the curvature', referring to the horseshoe bend near the mouth of the Onkaparinga River.

So there you have it; it's very pretty, idyllic even.  But tea-less.
