Chippy Sauce

My Dear Princess,

Thank you SOOOOO much for the chippy sauce.

Er Indoors was out with her mate Linda today, so for me it was fish suppers with the lads in the flat, and old black and white horror movies on the telly. Boris Karloff was a Glow-In-The-Dark assassin in "The Invisible Ray".

To be honest, the fish supper still wasn't quite Edinburgh standard. The batter was a bit spongy. 

I'm not sure what the fish was. It might have been tarakihi. Either way, Punky was unimpressed. He sniffed it and was like, "nah". He is very picky. I thought it was fine.

But the chips were PERFECT. 

And the chips in chippy sauce. They were like little golden happiness parcels.

You will note I gave the ubiquitous aioli and lemon slices the flick. I don't mind these things but CHIPPY SAUCE.
