Thank You!

SWMBO went to make an apointment about new contact lenses this morning.
When she was finished I asked the optician if she had any small screws.
I had found that there was one missing from the lens mount on my camera.
She was very good and went and got a couple of different sizes to try.
The first one was the right length but too fine.
The second one was the right size but way too long - so she got some specialist tools out, cut it to length and filed down the end and it was perfect.
When I asked the price I was told £70 ........ damn - she knew about camera repair shop prices.
But she refused to take any payment and said it added something to her day not having to deal with glasses from morning to night.
She even let me take her picture.
What a nice optician.

A nice walk and a couple of games of Pooh sticks before and after playing on the slides in the park .......... there may have been a grandson involved too.

Some DIY on a loose shelf and putting up a large picture was done and in return there was a very nice stir fry from Bags.
Seems fair.

Lots of belches from the Cygnet before bed - probably something to do with drinking the bath water complete with bubble bath.
Crazy child.
