Building Work

The first in a sequence of the new flats that will go up at the end of our street. It's not a big site . . . it extends a little to the left of frame . . . but enough for 12 flats in five floors. I had to fight tooth and nail to get them to change the plans and not have a garage on to our passage way. Then these last two weeks I had to stop them bringing heavy excavating machines onto the our street, claiming successfully that the test of necessity in our written access agreement had not been fulfilled as it was perfectly possible to do the work from within the site, as the picture illustrates!
