Where's it gone?

There I was, on the phone, when I looked out of my kitchen window and saw a heron swooping down and landing, in a rather ungainly fashion, on the railing by the mill pond. I grabbed my camera and very quietly crept out of the back door but he beat me to it and all I saw was a shadow disappearing behind the trees!
Oh well.... he disturbed all the pond life so I caught some amazing ripple reflections!
