watching the birds

on the bird table outside the window while eating oatcakes, before getting ready to leave.
We spent a couple of hours in the market, met up with friends and with Carly and Simon, and caught up with Christie who is home for the weekend.
Then back to the airport and off they went. Fred was very huggy and said 'bub-bye Nan-nee ' so sweetly ... Gulp. 
Came home to a quiet house, but it's only a few days till I see him next ..
