Meet Balkan

This rather placid old fellow was resued by a charity and was shipped from Bulgaria to be rehomed in England.  No one wanted him back in his country because of his age and the fact that half his ear was missing.  He is a gentle soul and lies happily under a blanket on an armchair in the farm kitchen.  He knows if he relinquishes this spot it will be taken by one of his 4 other dog housemates!!  He lies low and  observes the goings on.
The new owners have learnt a few Bulgarian words in order to make him feel at home.
