Mourning Dove

Subtly pretty; funny small head; sweet light blue ring around the eye; pink legs/feet. I like mourning doves.

Two more sleeps before I leave for 10 days in Ecuador! Birding - but not Galapagos.

And a warning for those of you who orient yourselves in the week by my Tuesday blip of the view from my driveway - unless I get The Husband to stop on our way out to the airport at sparrow's fart on Tuesday morning, there'll be no "Once a Week ~ 2017 ~ End of the Driveway View" shot for a couple of weeks! Certainly won't be one on December 5th!
