Pedimented Panel, Tenement Detail, Morningside

A cold start to the day, so bike maintenance is delayed. Then again, I need to sort out the pile of magazines, i.e. put them in the recycling, that have accumulated since my accident in May, so not a wasted morning. I do some quick bike maintenance just before lunch.

After lunch, my partner and I head down to Morningside, a bit of charity shop shopping, afternoon coffee, and getting something for tonight's tea.

As the sunlight goes reddish, I realise I don't have my blip for today. On the corner of Morningside Rd and Church Hill, this rooftop detail from a tenement stood out. I couldn't find out any background to it, but the building is listed Category B.
