Crossing a Dry Stony Creek

It was another very HOT day, with temperatures over +30C!  The 18 walkers parked at the car park on Shortcut Road, and walked from there through the pine trees, and willow trees to the end of the track by the Luggate Boulders..  The Californian Poppies were beautiful, nearly past their best though.  The walk back to the cars was VERY hot indeed, and nearly everyone had a cold drink at a local Luggate Cafe.

It is nice to be at home, and sitting in the shade.  We walked over 10 kms, 14,173 steps.  That's enough for one day, don't you think?
