She's Leaving Home

Well, just for the week. Florence deigned to stop for two seconds to have this snap taken this morning before setting off to school, and she wont be back until Friday. She's certainly taken enough stuff with her, having borrowed her mother's big suitcase.

No panic phone calls as yet. I'm sure that she will be fine, even if she doesnt get a lot of sleep, and we'll hear all about it from the other parents in due course. I hope she remembers to take some photos. The house is quiet without her. Luckily her mother and I are so busy that we cant spend time worrying about her. She'd hate that anyway. So grown up.
