Love among the Ruins

An electrician had to come back to our house recently to replace a kitchen LED light which he had installed about a year earlier. 'I remember this house' he said, 'it's full of Pre-Raphaelites!'
Sadly none are originals. We've been lucky enough to see the real version of this at Wightwick Manor a couple of times, both times we seemed to be the only people interested in it! The last time a woman came up alongside and said 'Oh it's only another Rossetti' at which mrsfitzbilly turned and rather indignantly said 'it's not a Rossetti actually, it's a Burne-Jones!'
