Love & Light

Such a beautifully sunny day. I could have gone to the allotment or planted bulbs at home - but I  never seemed to get round to either! Instead a gentle day at home pottering and felt calm, productive and rested! The light was beautiful in my conservatory and bathroom - couldn't resist the shadow of my whicker hen in the latter! 
First fire of the autumn season - I do love an evening sitting in my front room with a real fire. I'd accumulated lots of bits to burn, the odd bits of wood from the sofa I had broken down and taken to the tip in the summer, pieces of fallen branches covered in lichen, dried flowers. The flowers I shall save to burn and photograph on a day when I have not taken anything else!
