An Carra Standing Stone

I had set off to photograph this standing stone which is on the side of a hill near the local water treatment works. As I was driving along I could see the dark clouds and a rainbow. For the last mile I was hoping that (a) the rainbow would remain long enough for me to photograph and (b) that I would be able to get it in the shot with the standing stone!

This is probably the tallest standing stone we have here in Uist at 17 feet high. I didn't even know this existed until a friend told me about it last year!
