What a sunrise !

I'm waiting for a Comcast repair person, noon to 2 window. Hopefully they will arrive sooner than later. Last night T put things back as they were connected before we followed the instructions to attach the new modem. Everything worked again except the telephone landline bundled in our Xfinity service. All of this hassle because the modem installed not too long ago is supposedly faulty, but we haven't had any trouble with it.  Xfinity mailed us a new one to install ourselves...3 hours later and bald patches on our heads, the new one didn't work as well as the old one. I'm nervous because they never know how to work with Mac equipment. We have things set up so that our Time Machine functions as  a backup and as our router. They want to configure through their modem. The last guy managed a work around connection which I have to protect.

All hands hoping for our connection woes to be over.
