Winter light

Absolutely LOVE the afternoon light at the moment. I couldn't resist capturing it for my blip today. Please don't miss the UAE flag garland that we've put up for the week as we come up to the UAE's 46th National Day on 2nd December.

The big thing today was both of us getting haircuts! The hairdresser who has been cutting our hair since the 90's has recently moved to a new location, so it was a "new" experience. Apparently, the previous landlord gave them just three days notice to vacate. The rent was extremely high, so they are happy to have found cheaper premises. Cheaper being a relative term in this part of the world!

And of course, the other highlight of the day was Prince Harry's announcement... Fantastic to watch the full-length interview on BBC World! We have come a long long long way in less than 100 years!

Booked cinema tickets to watch "Wonder" tomorrow and "The Mountain Between Us" on Sunday! Hope your week has started well.
