Castle

There is something weird about this.

The picture is of one of the windows of the Vodafone shop at the bottom of Castle Street. I’ve now seen three different groups of tourists take a group shot in front of it. Which is fine, it’s a good picture, and a photo in front of the Castle is a must have in Edinburgh.

But Castle Street gets its name because of the great big Castle right at the end of it. So, you know, rotate your group through ninety degrees and you could get your picture in front of the actual castle, not a 2-D copy.
