In Record Time

First, we went to IKEA (again!) because hubby needed to see for real the sofa beds I photographed for his viewing.  The sofa bed or just plain bed is for the other smaller bedroom, the third one, which we plan to organize as a guest room.  It will be fully finished soon and we need to decide what kind of bed we want in it.  There's a choice between a sofa bed, a double bed where one is on top of another with the top one convertible into a sofa and transferrable to the floor if there are two guests, and a loft-type bed which would free the floor for loads of other things and at the same time would help us make use of the high wall on one side of the room because I intend to install shelves high up so that whoever is on the bed will have ready access to the reading material I'll be putting on the shelves, in which case the bed will also be functioning as a kind of couch, only at a higher level.  Don't know if you can picture it.  We won't be buying it yet, but hubby decided, as we were already there, to get two small fluffy rugs.  He then insisted that I carry them, and he even arranged them in my arms so that it would appear that I was wearing them and look, well, fluffy ... silly goose!

After IKEA, we drove around, even crossing over into Belgium (there are no borders between Schengen countries), all the way to Meer, where hubby's first recorded antecedents lived.  On the way there, we passed by the man-made lakes in the Galder area and stopped for some shots.  I had barely started shooting when it began to shower, so we had to run back to the car almost right after this shot.
