Lighting the Candles

Olive pickers have finished: another 400kg, so that's almost two tonnes of olives altogether - wonder how much olive oil that would be...

Most of day with colleagues, eating good food, talking, praying, and sorting difficult "stuff".

And then, to our amazement, visiting a brand new shopping centre  outside Évora on the way back. We went to visit a friend who's got a job in a creperie there, but never imagined it was in a very plush mall, complete with cinema (not opened yet, and will no doubt only show blockbusters, but still!!) and joy of joys, a fairly decent bookstore. Not sure how that happened without us knowing - lack of telly, FB, and rarely shopping, I guess.
