Ready for Launch.

This Cotton Thistle is sitting on the ground ready for next year when it will grow to around 8 feet tall and will be covered in beautiful flower heads and viscous prickles.

Today started with rain which looked like it was set in for the day but by 10am had dried up and was quite warm.

Later in the day I even managed to dig over a bed in a vegetable garden.

I heard from my daughter that the presentation she had to give today for an assessment which she was nervous about had gone quite well and it only counted for 25% of her marks anyway. The other 75% is for an essay which she is feeling confident about.

Saw a tired lady when she got off her train home and had a nice walk.
